Dimitra has been in the property industry for over 10 years, having achieved her Home Staging Certification initially in US & Canada and also in Australia. Dimitra has also completed her Design course at ISCD and has been Styling & Renovating homes in the Sydney area for over 5 years. 


A Certified Staging Professional™ and a CSP Elite Instructor, Dimitra is also a member of the leading Property Styling and Home Staging Industry Associations both here and in the US (IIHS & RESA). She is also a member of many forums on social media connecting with like-minded people in the industry across the globe.

   Open plan with many doorways and windows….

   Open plan living is very popular in our lifestyle however it can sometime present a challenge in how to layout the furniture. This vacant property had 3 doorways, plus bi-fold doors and windows in the space, so it was crucial to get the right furniture pieces for this space. We selected a 3 seat sofa and 2 arm chairs and we were able to layout the furniture in a way where it would not interrupt the flow of the indoor/outdoor feel whether the bi-fold doors were open or closed and also enhance the open plan spacious living this home has to offer.

   Working with home owners items…

   This was a beautiful home and just needed afew extra pieces to bring the home together and create that cohesive inviting feel to connect to buyers. In the main bedroom, the owners had great taste in furniture, it was the right scale for the room too, so we added the linen, cushions and throw on the bed along with bedside accessories and a sitting area with armchair and side table (not shown in image).

   I love the simplicity of this space as well as the blue accents, which provide a very calming living space. We brought in all the furniture and accessories in this living space and change the layout of the room to connect with the opening to the front hallway.
